5. CMS integration and website access
When you connect a CMS integration, you authorize BetterWeb to:
- Read your website content, pages, posts, and media for analysis
- Write changes to your website (only when you explicitly approve a recommended action)

All changes made to your website through BetterWeb are created as drafts by default. We never publish content or make live changes without your approval. You can disconnect your CMS integration at any time through the Integrations page.
6. Data storage and security
Your data is stored on secure servers. We implement appropriate technical and organizational security measures to protect your information, including:
- Encrypted data transmission (HTTPS/TLS)
- JWT-based authentication with 24-hour token expiration
- Rate limiting on API endpoints
- Regular database backups with 14-day retention

7. Data retention
We retain your account data for as long as your account is active. Scan reports and chat history are retained to provide ongoing service. If you delete your account, we will remove your personal data within 30 days, except where we are required to retain it by law.
Aggregated, anonymized data that cannot identify you may be retained indefinitely for analytics purposes.
